ORDER APPOINTING TRUSTEE

Upon consideration of the record and Petitioner Office of Disciplinary Counsel's motion to appoint a trustee to inventory the files of Respondent Randolph J. Amen and to take such action as seems indicated to protect the interests of Respondent Amen's clients, as provided by Rule 2.20 of the Rules of the Supreme Court of the State of Hawai`i ("RSCH"), it appears Respondent Amen has disappeared and there is no partner, executor or other responsible party capable of conducting Respondent Amen's affairs. Therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the motion is granted, and, effective nunc pro tunc October 4, 2001, Assistant Disciplinary Counsel Michael T. Lee is appointed as Trustee under RSCH 2.20 to inventory Respondent Randolph J. Amen's files and to take such action pursuant to RSCH 2.20 as seems indicated to protect the interests of Respondent Amen's clients.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Trustee shall assume all of the duties enumerated in RSCH 2.20(c), and such other duties as may be granted by further order of this court.
