Under the circumstances of this case, including the seventeen-year period elapsing since the subject incident, the federal prosecution's description of Respondent's cooperation as valuable, complete, and significant, Respondent's successful completion of a two-year sentence of probation, Respondent's distinguished military record, and Respondent's otherwise good character as attested to by numerous members of the legal and general community in this State, I believe the unique facts of this case warrants substantially different discipline in this State of thirty-six months suspension from the date of the order herein.
