Upon consideration of the petition for leave to file brief of amicus curiae in support of Petitioners' petition for a writ of mandamus, the papers in support, and the records and files herein, it appears that this court entered an order on July 20, 2001 denying the petition for writ of mandamus without prejudice to any remedy Petitioners may have by way of appeal, and the instant petition for leave to file an amicus brief is moot. Therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the petition is denied.
