Upon consideration of Petitioner Uriel Bayer's motion for dismissal of the petition for writ of mandamus, the papers in support, and the records and files herein, it appears that: (1) on September 25, 2001, Appellant filed a notice that the petition for a writ of mandamus is moot and that he would be withdrawing the petition; and (2) in the instant motion to dismiss, Petitioner submitted exhibits showing that the petition for a writ of mandamus is moot. Therefore,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Petitioner's motion for dismissal of the petition for a writ of mandamus is granted, and this petition is dismissed.
