ORDER OF SUSPENSION

Upon consideration of the Office of Disciplinary Counsel's petition for the immediate suspension of Respondent R. Richard Ichihashi from the practice of law, the memorandum and exhibits in support thereof, and the record, and Respondent Ichihashi's lack of response to our March 18, 2002 order to appear and show cause, it appears that Respondent is the subject of a disciplinary investigation and has failed to cooperate with the investigation. Therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, pursuant to Rule 2.12A of the Rules of the Supreme Court of the State of Hawai`i, that Respondent R. Richard Ichihashi is suspended from the practice of law. This order is effective immediately and until further order of this court.
