Upon consideration of appellant's "Motion for Correction or Modification of the Record and for Reconsideration," the papers in support and the record, it appears that the motion seeks reconsideration of the November 8, 2005 order dismissing this appeal for lack of jurisdiction. The motion for reconsideration was filed on May 25, 2006, but the time for seeking reconsideration of the November 8, 2005 order expired on November 18, 2005. See HRAP 40(a)("A motion for reconsideration may be filed by a party only within 10 days after the filing of the opinion, dispositional order, or ruling unless by special leave additional time is granted during such period by a judge or justice of the appellate court."). Therefore,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the motion for reconsideration is dismissed.
