Upon consideration of the motion for reconsideration of the December 7, 2006 order denying the "Motion Requesting Judicial Notice and Recognition of Petitioner's Political Will," the papers in support and the record, it appears that the motion for reconsideration was not filed within 10 days after the filing of the December 7, 2006 order and is not timely. See HRAP 40(a)("A motion for reconsideration may be filed by a party only within 10 days after the filing of the opinion, dispositional order, or ruling[.]"). Therefore,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the motion for reconsideration is dismissed.
